![]() Using the offline editor is a better choice honestly, and you can always download the offline version on here. I use a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet and could make awesome animations like this on the Scratch online editor: (this was animated on FireAlpaca) but can't really because of the excessive amount of lag I get when drawing online. It's not just you who is experiencing the problem with tablet use on Scratch being laggy. (that may just be me though?) it would be really cool to fix or change this, if possible, as a lot of bitmap artists draw with a tablet! thank you for reading and have a nice day :> Support. (especially with scratch's limited brushes/pixels lol) also, i think the editor is overall laggy with graphic tablets. especially when you're animating, and don't feel like fixing every frame. Pen pressure helps extend, and spread the strokes so it doesn't do that. If it doesn’t lag, it might be an issue with the piece(s) you’re working on due to either multiple layers, a big canvas (if you’re working with an older laptop) or particular settings.Pillowolf wrote:ok, so recently i realized that there is no pen pressure on scratch and i think it would make drawing on scratch a whole lot easier. In some cases it can be the tablet too but it seems unlikely in this case. ![]() Try running FireAlpaca just by itself and make a new blank image- is it still lagging then? If so, it could be on an old update, or there could be something else happening (computer running too many background processes, not enough memory, etc). ![]() Sorry to hear you’re having this problem! We’ll do our best to try and help. Firealpaca has been working Great for me, But lately its been so slow and laggy, The layers take a long time to appear and The paint Bucket and Magic Wand tool takes 2-5 minutes to load when trying to use it. ![]()
